I was very excited about this. My second time in three weeks on the show – Positive Salford on 94.4FM Salford City Radio.
On the first occasion I was interviewed by the lovely Kelly Walsh and invited in to talk about my first book – From Pills to Peace. Today I was interviewed by the wonderful Kirsty E Kerins. Today’s show was about good mental health. This was emphasised and even more relevant than we thought, due to the tragic news that Sophie Graden had taken her own life. Sophie was one of four celebs that had offered to promote my book and in doing so helping people suffering from their own minds, all the while suffering in silence herself. I read a poem on air (“Earth Angels”) that I had written the night before. I was deeply touched by her story. May she rest in peace.
